South African born Mordechai Friedman is a popular artist/illustrator and cartoonist. He is well known, both for his brilliant cartoon renditions, and his controversial political opinions that inspire his work. Throughout the years, his cartoons have been published in various newspapers and magazines throughout Israel, the USA, and in South Africa. Here in New York, he is famous as an illustrator of children's books, particularly for his work on the fabulously successful animated movie- "All if a sudden" featuring the Country Yossi cartoon characters "Kivi & Tuki." In addition, Mordechai enjoyed a very close relationship with Algemeiner founder Gershon Jacobson for several years as the resident political cartoonist for the Algemeiner Journal's weekly editorial, and is finally back as part of the Algemeiner "team".
