With no significant anti-Israel or antisemitic activity in several years, Towson University is an excellent choice for Jewish students. The school offers Jewish sororities and fraternities, as well as a “Kosher Korner” with both dairy and meat meals. Hillel hosts a catered Shabbat dinner at least once a month, as well as a Challah for Hunger chapter and a Cafe Ivrit Hebrew learning program. Chabad provides Shabbat meals, learning opportunities and celebrations of Jewish holidays. About 10 percent of Towson undergraduates are Jewish, and on average nearly 50 go on each Towson Birthright trip to Israel. (Photo credit: Wikipedia.)
