Ariel Zwang

Ariel Zwang is CEO of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), the global Jewish humanitarian organization operating in 70 countries worldwide. In January 2021, Zwang took the helm of JDC and its team of hundreds of professionals. “My ancestors came from Eastern Europe in the 1920s, and they were hoping that I would have the life that I have had,” Zwang reflected on her appointment. “I grew up with a tremendous sense of gratitude.” Zwang previously led Safe Horizon, one of America’s leading social service agencies, where as CEO for twelve years.
