Levi Duchman

American-born Chabad Rabbi Levi Duchman currently serves as the head of the Jewish Community Center of the United Arab Emirates. Fluent in five languages, including Arabic and French, Duchman’s work in the UAE included the mounting of the first exhibition about the Nazi Holocaust ever held in the emirate. A vocal advocate of peace between Israel and its Arab neighbors, Duchman experienced a proud moment when he affixed the mezuzah onto the doorpost of the newly-opened Israeli Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
