Alex Edelman

Comedian

Celebrated young comedian Alex Edelman was born into an Orthodox Jewish home in Boston and began performing stand-up at the age of 15. In 2014, he won the Comedy Award at the Edinburgh Festival, propelling him to a successful career on-stage and as a comedy writer. Edelman has never strayed from his Jewish roots, launching his show “Just for Us” in 2022 which told the story of his encounter with a group of white supremacists in Queens. “There are very few happy racists, I would imagine,” he remarked in an interview with PBS. “At least I haven't been exposed to it online.
