Israel Tapoohi

President and CEO of Birthright Israel Foundation

Israel “Izzy” Tapoohi is the president and CEO of Birthright Israel Foundation, the non-profit housing the organization that sends young Jews on free trips to Israel. An Australian who emigrated to Israel with his family in 1979, Tapoohi has spent the last six years working for Birthright. He has held a number of key advisory positions, including two stints working for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
