Ynet – Omar Abu Rwayyis, who plays in the position of goalkeeper for the Palestinian Olympic soccer team, was arrested by Israeli authorities Monday over his alleged involvement in shooting on IDF soldiers.
Rwayyis was arrested in a joint IDF-Shin Bet operation in the West Bank, following an incident in which Palestinian rioters fired on IDF troops in the Al-Amari refugee camp, near Ramallah in January.
