A recent YouTube video is causing quite the stir in Israel, after it was exposed on a local news show. The short clip, uploaded just five days ago by parents of a newborn, show the 8 days old’s “lavish” entrance to his own Brit ceremony, driven to the main event area by a remote controlled toy car, as flames and drummers are celebrating his not-so-thoroughly-unsupervised arrival.

Jewish events are known to be of of high production value in Israel, where weddings, bar mitzvahs and even Brit ceremonies are trying to outdo one another with more extravagant features to draw great response and admiration by guests.

This new video casts a dark shadow on the trend, with comments calling out the parents’ ignorance and child abuse manner.
