As Fatah celebrates its 48th anniversary it has taken the opportunity to incite terror against Israel.
According to Palestinian Media Watch, the Palestinian political party has posted several offensive and provocative messages to its Facebook page. In December alone Fatah posted at least two photos that depicted small children carrying guns.
Such messages come despite President Shimon Peres declaring earlier this week that “Israel will have no better partner with whom to secure a peace agreement” than Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who also chairs Fatah.
Several other photos posted to the page glorified terrorism as acts of heroism, PMW reported. The social media web page is filled with images of children brandishing weapons against the backdrop of slogans referring to the “ongoing armed struggle against Israel.” A translation provided by Israel Hayom reads, “Through conquering they stole our land.” The words are set against the backdrop of a map of Israel including Judea and Samaria labeled together as “Palestine,” with Israel’s borders excised.
