Steven Spielberg
Film Director/Producer
The acclaimed film director created the Shoah Foundation in 1994 following the release of his film Schindler’s List. The role of the foundation is to document and archive the testimonies of Holocaust survivors. To that effect nearly 52,000 such testimonies have been accumulated since. Now a part of the University of Southern California, the foundation’s most recent project merges technology with testimony to produce interactive 3-D exhibits of survivors recounting their experiences during the Shoah.
