The Israel Defense Forces Nahal Brigade uncovered three underground rocket launchers loaded with medium-range Grad rockets, hidden on the grounds of an agricultural school in Beit Hanoun, Gaza, the IDF said.
On Monday, the IDF uploaded video recorded by the Nahal Brigade with a night-vision lens. The soldier in front of the camera said, “After clearing the school we are going to destroy the rockets.” Below the post, the IDF said, “Some of the launchers still had rockets in them and were ready to be be fired. Hamas has shot many rockets at Israel from this location.”
On its YouTube channel, the IDF also uploaded more footage from the front, showing Israeli soldiers destroying Hamas tunnels, while Hamas militants were recorded using Gazan homes to fire on the IDF and driving in ambulances to ride freely around Gaza.
During the 15 days of Israel’s Operation Protective Edge, Hamas has been caught using hospitals, mosques and schools to hide militants and weapons, all of which are contrary to international rules of war created to protect civilians.
