CNS – The U.S. Senate on Tuesday failed for a second time to advance a resolution disapproving President Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran, and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell signaled plans for a vote on an amendment requiring Iran to recognize Israel’s right to exist and to release U.S. citizens in its custody.
Until Tehran meets those two “simple benchmarks,” McConnell said on the Senate floor, Obama must not be allowed to lift sanctions.
