Little Girl on Official Palestinian Authority TV Says ‘Jews Treacherous Since Days of Moses’
by Shiryn Ghermezian
A recent program on Palestinian Authority TV includes a young girl reciting an antisemitic tale, an Israel-based watchdog organization reported on Sunday.
The Palestinian child says she wants to tell “the story of my people,” in the footage released and translated by Palestinian Media Watch. She claims Jews and Arabs used to be friends, but that “the foreigners came to expel us.” It is not surprising that Jews did this, she says, because “treachery has been their nature from the days of Moses until today.”
Children repeatedly appear on PA President Mahmoud Abbas’ official network making antisemitic statements. In November 2015, a broadcast featured a young girl reciting a poem with the line: “Our enemy, Zion, is Satan with a tail.”
During a separate broadcast in July, a Palestinian girl recited a hate poem filled with anti-Jewish epithets, including that Jews are “barbaric monkeys” and “the most evil among creations.”
A little girl invoked Koranic language to describe Jews as “wretched pigs” during a segment that aired in July 2013.
