The Mutaween in Saudi Arabia, also known as the religious police, are responsible for enforcing the sharia laws observed in the oil rich nation.
Recently, the religious police confronted a woman in a Saudi mall but instead of heeding to their demands, she defended herself and recorded the incident as it occurred.
“Don’t let him follow me,” the woman told police after they arrived on the scene. “I am free to walk around this mall as I like.”
