Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow is starring in a new video advertisement campaign for 51 Park, a luxury residential development in Herzliya, Israel.
The ad was filmed in New York by WhyWorry, an Israeli boutique advertising agency. WhyWorry founder and CEO Gabi Attal shared the commercial on LinkedIn, saying Paltrow was chosen to reflect the project’s upscale image.
“To bring this architectural masterpiece to the Israeli audience, we needed a figure who effortlessly embodies international elegance, a premium lifestyle, and uncompromising quality,” Attal said. “Enter Academy Award, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Gwyneth Paltrow.”
The video shows the “Marty Supreme” star waking up in a high-rise apartment overlooking a park before going on an early-morning run. Throughout the clip, Paltrow narrates the appeal of living near green space.
“There’s a reason why the world’s most iconic buildings are by a park,” the Goop founder and CEO says in the ad, before telling a driver to take her to “51 Park.”
“New York?” the driver asks.
“Herzliya,” Paltrow replies, before smiling and adding, “Israel.”
The 51 Park development is made up of two 51-floor towers and is being built by the Israeli real estate group Aviv Melisron. It is located next to Herzliya Park.
Paltrow’s late father, director and producer Bruce Paltrow, was Jewish, while her mother, actress Blythe Danner, is Christian. Paltrow is married to Jewish television producer Brad Falchuk and has spoken publicly about her Jewish heritage, including in a Hanukkah video with Israeli activist Noa Tishby.
She has also spoken out about the sexual violence committed during the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and shared campaign videos raising awareness about the hostages abducted to the Gaza Strip.
