Here’s one way to keep your kids grounded: don’t tell them about the multimillion dollar winning lottery ticket you purchased. A couple in their 60s who are parents to eight children have done just that, Israel’s Channel 2 reports.
“Our children have received and continue to receive, but we want them to continue to work and to earn their living, this way they learn that nothing comes easy. Then eventually all ours will be theirs, we won’t take anything with us,” the couple is quoted as saying.
The couple say they already have money to live a comfortable life so they will give much of the nearly $5 million to families in need.
“These are families in rather difficult circumstances,” the couple said according to Israel’s Channel 2, adding, “Our hearts hurt just watching them.”
