Wall Street Journal – More than 1,300 flights have been canceled at New York’s three major airports as the region contends with a wintry mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain.

The National Weather Service has issued a freezing rain advisory for New York City and Long Island until 9 a.m. Wednesday. An ice storm warning remains in effect for the northern suburbs until 6 p.m. Wednesday.
