Jerusalem Post – The number of Israelis in Japan who have not yet made contact dropped Sunday to two people, one tourist and an Israeli living in the country for a long period of time. Soon after the devastating earthquake hit, the number of Israelis who were unaccounted for stood at a high of 28.
The Japanese, meanwhile, are deliberating about an Israeli offer to send over a unit with expertise in identifying bodies. A similar unit was dispatched to New Zealand when it suffered a catastrophic earthquake last month.
