Facebook Buys Israeli Startup for $70 Million

Business Times – The Israeli mobile app startup Snaptu has confirmed that it was bought by Facebook Inc. in a deal that reports in Israeli newspapers have pegged as worth up to $70 million, VentureBeat reports.

Financial details of the acquisition were not officially disclosed.

Facebook worked earlier this year with Snaptu on a mobile app for a range of feature phones.
