The suspect, Levi Aron.

The intense search for a missing Borough Park boy, Leibby Kletzky has come to a horrific and shocking end, as police say they have discovered the dismembered remains of the 9-year-old, in a dumpster, and have at least one suspect in custody.

The suspect, who was seen in surveillance video with Leibby was taken into custody at 2:40 a.m. at his apartment in the Kensington section of Brooklyn where detectives also found parts of the boys body. The  suspect – who according to neighbours goes by the name Levi Aron – made statements implicating himself in Leibby’s death, Police said.

Leibby failed to meet his mother at 5 p.m. Monday after leaving a chasidic day camp just a few blocks from his home. His disappearance prompted a massive search, with thousands of the orthodox Jewish community scouring the streets for any hints of the boy.

“There are no words, just no words, to describe the sense of what happened here,” said State Assemblyman Dov Hikind in an interview this morning. He also said that the suspect is Jewish.

Funeral plans have not yet been announced.

I just can’t even think of the words to say….What is wrong with people? My heart aches thinking of the fear this little boy must have faced…and so sad to think he was trusting an adult someone who should be helping keep our kids safe, to break that trust and violate every type of moral standard and human behavior is just so so terribly heart-breaking. He is a disgrace to people and to God!
We need to do some serious prayer as a nation to get the sin out of our world! My thoughts, prayers and heart truely go out to the parents and family members along with the officials that have the tragic unfortunate job to bring justice for this innocent soul. May God be with you and your family Lieby.RIP

I’m completely sad and simply grossed out. This is why we as parents are afraid to let our kids out of our sight for even one minute. And then we are accused of creating a population of fat children who sit around playing video games all day. I was raised to go outside and play while my parents stayed inside and worked, cleaned house, etc. Nobody was afraid that a stranger would chop us up into pieces. My children were raised to sit inside until I was ready to be with them outside because I feared this exact thing. What an incredible shame that the world has come to this. I feel heartbroken for this boy’s family and friends.
