Report: Hezbollah Tried to Kill Israeli Consul

Ynet – The Italian newspaper Corierre della Sera reported Monday that the Lebanon based terror group Hezbollah, attempted to assassinate the Israeli consul in Turkey, in an Istanbul terror attack last May. At the time, the attack was thought to be the work of the PKK .
Quoting Washington sources, the paper said the attack was meant to avenge the death of Iranian nuclear scientist Masoud Ali Mohammadi who was killed last year. Iran claims the Mossad was behind the hit.
The Israeli consul Moshe Kimchi was unhurt in the attack.
