Chasidic folk-rock singer Moshe Hecht and Pitney Bowes, the Fortune 500 software and hardware maker, may seem like an odd couple.  But the two have joined together to promote the use of Pitney Bowes marketing technology, which gives artists and their fans a way to interact with each other on a more personal level.

It turns out Hecht used the technology to promote his recent album “Heart Is Alive”.  Pitney Bowes caught wind of it and during their search to find a young up and coming artist to help showcase their product, they decided Hecht was the right fit.

“Moshe’s music, creativity and forward-thinking make such a compelling story that we believe he will inspire other customers to explore using QR codes as part of their integrated marketing efforts,” says Lisa Somer, Senior Director of Piteny Bowes’ Small Business Strategy.

“Here you have a real life example of using modern technology to spread a positive message and inspire people,” he said Hecht.
