CNN – The Syrian regime will announce Monday the results of its much-touted constitutional referendum, but for residents fearing for their lives in Homs — unsure whether the next government rocket will fall on their house — the vote is of little concern.
The results of the referendum, which President Bashar al-Assad’s regime has said is a move toward reform, will be announced Monday evening, the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency said.
But explosions rocked Homs, an opposition stronghold, once again Monday, and fresh government shelling killed four people in the city’s Baba Amr neighborhood, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an opposition group.
