Soccer, driving, singing, photography, and hanging out by the Mediterranean Sea are all part of the Israel Defense Forces’ video message to those celebrating Passover around the world.

“Pesach means the freedom of Israel, the freedom of it’s people and family, as an alone soldier its very important to be here with other soldiers,” said a female IDF member.

Soldiers located on bases across the country have the opportunity to sit down for a full seder while those serving in the field are given Passover approved food to eat as they are out on patrol.

“It’s really like the most family holiday of all.  Every time, every year we sit down for seder, and we have like a full meal with everyone, like full family uncles, and grandma and grandpa and it’s really nice to be united, your whole family, every year,” an IDF soldier says in a video message.
