Romney Selects Leavitt to Head White House Transition Team

USA Today – If Mitt Romney is elected president, he’ll be ready to transition to a GOP-led government with the help of an old hand from the Bush administration.

Mike Leavitt, Health and Human Services secretary for George W. Bush, is leading the presumptive Republican nominee’s transition team. Politico first reported the news this weekend that Leavitt is leading what is known as “Project Ready.”
