Perez Hilton, the man who has built a career out of celebrity gossip, told the world on Wednesday about his “kinship” with Jewish people.
“I’ve always felt such a kinship with #Jewish people. Often misunderstood. Incredibly resourceful. Family minded. Pretty spectacular people!”, Hilton tweeted just before 7 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Miami born blogger has been the subject of criticism for “outing” gay celebrities who have chosen to keep their sexual preferences private. In late 2010, Hilton began working with the “It Gets Better Project”, which attempts to stem suicides by gay teenagers who are bullied by their peers.
