Ynet – Two Iranians have been sentenced to death for “persistent consumption of alcohol,” which is in violation of the Islamic Republic’s laws, Ynet learned Wednesday.
Tehran’s Sharia Law forbids the use, manufacturing and trading of any kind of alcoholic drink.
