A new Rasmussen poll revealed that 51 percent of American voters believe the U.S. should assist Israel if the Jewish state attacks Iran.

The respondents were asked, “If Israel attacks Iran, should the United States help Israel, help Iran, or do nothing?”

Additionally, 61 percent of respondents said an Israeli attack on Iran was at least “somewhat likely” within the next year, while 23 percent said such an attack was “unlikely.”
