Swiss Lab Wants Assurances Before Examining Arafat’s Body

Israel Hayom – The laboratory, which found traces of polonium on Arafat’s clothes, will only help investigate his unexplained death if it receives a guarantee the findings will not be used for political purposes.

The mysterious death of PLO Leader Yasser Arafat in Paris eight years ago is continuing to stir up controversy. The Swiss Radiophysics Institute, which has been charged with examining Arafat’s remains, is insisting that it will carry out the investigation only if the results are not used for political purposes.
