The Israeli Air Force responded again today to continued rocket attacks on Southern Israel by striking a terror site in the northern Gaza strip according to an IDF statement to reporters.
“The site was targeted in response to this week’s rocket fire towards southern Israel. Since the beginning of 2012 more than 500 rockets fired from the Gaza Strip hit Israel, including over 40 in October alone,” said the release.
Earlier in the day a rocket fired from Gaza struck Israel. Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot provided details: “Gaza terrorists fired a rocket at Netivot on Wednesday evening. The shell landed in an open area between Netivot and Sdot Negev Regional Council.”
Yesterday The Algemeiner reported that, “The Israeli Air Force… responded to increased Gaza rocket attacks aimed at Southern Israel by striking a terror site.”
