Benjamin Netanyahu met with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro today in Israel. During a brief press conference the Prime Minister said, “I want to congratulate President Obama on his re-election. I think the United States of America again demonstrated why it’s the greatest democracy on earth.” Netanyahu also expressed his satisfaction with the close security cooperation between the two countries. Ambassador Shapiro also spoke saying that the U.S. looks forward to “close cooperation” between the two governments.
