While conflict rages between Israel and Hamas on the ground, Twitter has become a virtual battlefield for the two sides. The official Twitter page of Hamas’s military wing, al-Qassam Brigades, continues to try to provoke that of the IDF. And then there’s the fact that they’ve been caught tweeting pictures of fake casualties. Check this out:

Joel Pollack at Breitbart.com caught this last night. According to Pollack the photo appeared on October 16, 2012 on the UK Guardian website in a montage of images from the Syrian conflict. The image was taken at the Dar al Shifa Hospital in Aleppo, Syria. Breitbart.com also reported that at one point the al-Qassam Brigade’s said that they were shelling Israeli military sites, which, of course, isn’t the case as their rockets tend to be launched indiscriminately as civilians.
