“Hamas deliberately targets our children, and they deliberately place their rockets next to their children. Despite this reality, and it’s a very difficult reality, Israel will continue to do everything in its power to avoid civilian casualties.”

These were the words offered by Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday. But it’s no surprise, Hamas is well known for placing its civilian population at risk in an effort to impede Israel’s response to its attacks, or, even better, to cause civilian casualties for the world’s viewing pleasure. So while Hamas continues to launch rockets indiscriminately at Israel (over 500 since Saturday according to the IDF) and Israel continues to avoid mass casualties due to the Iron Dome and Hamas’s (fortunately) poor aim, the Times of London has created a visual for us, posted below, that accurately depicts Hamas’s strategy:
