The popular musical TV series ‘Gleefeatured a performance of the classic Hanukkah song “Oh Hanukkah” on it’s latest episode entitled “Glee Actually,” which aired Thursday.

Character Puck, who in the show is half black and half Jewish, convinces his brother Jake to come celebrate Hanukkah in California with him, according to a New York Post review of the episode. “And before we know it, the two Puckerman brothers are cruising on the Paramount Lot and breezing by security.”

“Puck snatches two acoustic guitars,” says the review, “and the two brothers run around the lot singing ‘Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah’ interrupting movie sets, and then ending with matching Star of David tattoos.”

Towards the end of the video, the brothers dance around the foot of a large Christmas tree, and Puck adds a Star of David ornament to the tree’s decorations, while winking at his brother.

The song “Oh Hanukkah” is an English version of the traditional Yiddish Chanukah song “Oy Chanukah.”

A video of the performance can be viewed below.
