New York Post – Former Mayor Ed Koch, who died last month from congestive heart failure, continued to give to the city he loved yesterday with a $100,000 gift to an educational fund and a treasure trove of political memorabilia to the New York Historical Society.
Koch, 88, who received a grand send-off complete with a standing ovation to the iconic tune “New York, New York,” at his funeral five weeks ago, left the bulk of his estate to his sister, Pat Thaler, was also appointed executor of his will.
