Ronnie Flammer & Ofir Fischer
Founders, OR Movement
This Zionist movement was built in Israel’s Negev and Galilee, and while other regions today receive more of the attention, the OR Movement highlights the opportunities available in these vast regions. The OR Movement was established by Flammer and Fisher in 2002. Since then, seven new towns have been established under its aegis, with two more currently in the works. The movement has also facilitated over 50 community and public building projects, assisting local groups in the planning, construction and operation of the developments. In 2012, OR was given the Yigal Alon Award for Exemplary Pioneering Activities and won the first ever Prime Minister’s Award for Innovation and Initiatives in 2010.
