The ‘willing’ involvement of the Kazakhs is disturbing.
In 1944 Stalin deported all Chechens from Chechnia to the central Asian SSRs -mostly to Kazakhstan..about 1/3 of the Chechen populationdied during this “relocation”-in 1957 the remainng Chechens were allowed back. There are still 50,000 Chechens in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh Chechens are an underclass-anti Russian,anti-Israel..even anti-Kazakh..they have been courted strongly by the Iranians with literature, broadcast and money for religious institutions. The Iranians have alsi targeted many minorities in Kazakhstan and neighboring states-especially the poor and alienated.
Are these Kazakhs a result of the Iranian effort ??
One quarter of kazakhsstans population is European -over 4 million(3/4 Russian)-they are the more educated..the technocrats and professionals..which for many does not endear Euopeanss nor Westernization to the Kazakhs -especially the nations indigenous minorities

The reason for that 1944 expulsion was the pro-German stance of the Chechens during the nazi invasion
