An Israeli firefighter was injured in an Arab riot in Jerusalem Thursday morning, as he sought to put out a fire, Israel National News reported.

According to the report, the fire broke out next to the Arab village of Issawiya, which is within the municipal boundaries of Jerusalem. A fire station is located close by, and a fire truck was dispatched to douse the blaze before it had a chance to spread too far.

A large mob of Arabs greeted the firefighters with stones and bricks. One firefighter was injured and was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital for treatment. Police were called in to clear the area and allow the firefighters to continue putting out the blaze.

Also Thursday, Jerusalem police arrested three Arabs who attacked a Jew in the Old City Wednesday. Police said that the attackers had nationalistic motives. At least five Arabs were involved in the attack, and police said they expect to make more arrests.

    Time to end the Havlagah.
The arabs no longer fear the IDF b/c the hands of the IDF is tied.

Good to read Hague is strengthening ties between Israel and UK. Germany has showed her support. I read in another article yesterday numbers of Muslims are converting to Christianity, mainly women, understandable in view of the treatment received from Muslim men.

Glad these insurgents are being dealt with like criminals, time to introduce more categories of treason. Muslims in the UK are not only criminal, first degree murder, but also committing treason against their country (they all hold British passports). How many categories of treason are statute in Israel?

Shows the character and insanity of these mobs…primitive, and filled with malice and hatred. Wouldn’t blame firefighters who refuse to attend fires in their areas. Why should they?

    • Yes, the firefighters should have backed off and let the arab shop burn to the ground.

  • In Europistan we get that sort of news regularly too, particularly from France, Germany, Sweden, Great Britain, others to follow soon… Our body of democratic and peaceful societies is more and more exposed to a specific and well known poison administered to us by outside agents and helped by our own doctors. For the moment the reactions of our body are controlled by antihystamines and some mild pain killers, but the poison attacks are spreading and increasing, triggering stronger reactions everywhere and soon there will be a violent reaction or an anaphylactic shock. Only very strong medication will work and hopefully it will be aimed at stopping the poison and not at the body’s reactions.

Was this incident in East Jerusalem? If so, Israel had no business there…its palestinan territory. I just love your putting up this crap, while the Israelies have F16’s, nuclear weapons and use brutality against Palestinans every day….rocks really…

  • Something analogous happened before, when the Saudi religious police stopped firefighters from rescueing girls.'_school_fire

  • Another example of Arab DNA.

Throwing stones, rocks, and bricks at Jews and other Israeli citizens is terrorism. Israel must protect its citizenry. The violence is totally unacceptable. Israel must not be intimidated by terrorist activity.

If this were an Arab house I would have let it burn to the ground. And if it took the entire Arab village with it, so be it.

Yes, and then the same mob who hurled rocks at the fire fighters would be howling that Israel had a moral obligation to help them in an emergency.

Frankly, one has to wonder if the fire was caused by arson and the attack on the fire fighters another event of staged rage.
