Times of Israel – MK Hilik Bar (Labor) proposed a bill on Monday calling for the legislative implementation of a two-state solution, a move some observers contend aims to embarrass Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his coalition partners who have expressed support for such a deal.
The new bill proposes that the final status of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip will be determined exclusively within the framework of a two-state solution between the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority.
