The Daily Beast – The Obama administration began softening sanctions on Iran after the election of Iran’s new president in June, months before the current round of nuclear talks in Geneva or the historic phone call between the two leaders in September.

While those negotiations now appear on the verge of a breakthrough the key condition for Iran—relief from crippling sanctions—began quietly and modestly five months ago.

    Why has that President of Iran got a bandage on his head. Did somebody hit him over the head with a Rounders Bat. I hope so. He should have gone to hospital and got it fixed properly!

    where is the much-touted “transparency” of the obama administration? and have these concessions stopped even a single centrifuge? or is obama simply feeding his ego, at any price?

      Obama and Iran quietly reached a detente last year before the Presidential election. In exchange for them not announcing they’re a nuclear armed state he agreed to ignore it. It’s a win win for everyone and they’re simply negotiating the terms of when they will announce Iran’s nuclear status in a way that’s politically advantageous for everyone.
