Gay Rights Rally Held in Tel Aviv

Ynet – Some 1,000 people marched in Tel Aviv on Friday to raise awareness to the hardships the LGBT community faces in Israel.

Protesters were calling on governmental officials to recognize the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community’s same-sex marriage bill proposal, denouncing religious coercion and homophobia, which they said are a major part of the agenda in certain parties in the coalition.
