Lebanese Interior Minister  Marwan Charbel said a mysterious drone spotted over the Maarab residence of Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea likely belongs to Israel, according to the Lebanon Daily Star on Tuesday.

“This type of aircraft could carry a missile that weighs around 200 or 300 kilograms, and it is likely to be an Israeli drone,” Charbel told a local newspaper picked up by the Daily Star.

Charbel said a police report confirmed the drone could be seen with the naked eye above Maarab, north of Beirut, where the LF headquarters is located.

“The matter isn’t a joke,” he told the local newspaper, as cited by the Daily Star.
