Bloomberg – The U.S. Senate is preparing to confirm Stanley Fischer to the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, bolstering its membership as the Fed winds down the most aggressive easing in its 100-year history.
The final vote is scheduled today for about 12:15 p.m. Washington time following yesterday’s 62-35 vote to advance the nomination of Fischer, a former governor of the Bank of Israel.
