The Rolling Stones’s first concert ever in Tel Aviv last week continued to make the news, after reports in Israeli media were picked up by the UK’s Daily Mail, about how Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli broke up with boyfriend Adi Ezra after he complained that she was dancing too close to Mick Jagger at the concert’s after-party.
“Israeli publications reported the couple split after Ezra accused the blonde of dancing too close to notorious womanizer Jagger, 70, with one claiming that he was so furious he grabbed Bar and pulled her off the dance floor at an exclusive Stones party” the Daily Mail wrote on Thursday.
“The couple were then heard having an argument and left the bash separately – and have not spoken since,” the newspaper reported. In addition to the blockbuster concert, Refaeli was celebrating her 29th birthday.
Jagger’s charisma and penchant for beautiful women kept the concert in the news all week, after it was revealed that Israeli model Nao Tishby’s whispers enabled the singer to speak such eloquent Hebrew during his performance. A photo of the pair on Instagram, plus Tishby’s heartfelt thanks for the Rolling Stones coming to Israel, gave rise to speculation the two might be an item.
As for Refaeli, at the weekend, the model flew to Los Angeles with her father and youngest brother, and the trio were pictured at the Jewish Life Foundation Salute to Hollywood Gala on Sunday.
Before going out with Ezra, Refaeli dated Hollywood’s Leonardo DiCaprio for four years, and they split in May 2011.
In May, she posed in wedding dresses for Hello! magazine and admitted she could hear wedding bells, saying: “The wedding of my dreams is very simple, not a lot of people, not in a big place, maybe outdoors, barefoot.”
She said, “I’m in a relationship, there’s a special guy in my life, we’re not talking marriage yet.”
