Non-profit industry watchdog NGO Monitor on Wednesday slammed Presbyterian Church USA, which last week voted to divest from Israel, in a 66-page report detailing the radical church’s politically-motivated opposition to Israel and a deep hatred for Jews.
The in-depth report comes as Christian groups in the U.S. also came out against PCUSA, with Christians United for Israel, CUFI, a lobby that speaks for 1.6 million registered Christian-Zionists, sending 26,000 letters of support to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the first 24-hours of their campaign.
NGO Monitor‘s research publishes many screenshots of PCUSA members on social media disparaging Israel, demonstrating their hate for Jews and repeating anti-Semitic canards that undercut its moral position against the nation of Israel.
One praised Iran as “the only Zionist free place on Earth,” while others used lies to even question the existence of the Jewish people.
