The Hypocritical Nature of Anti-Israel Protests

There is a difference between being pro-Palestinian-Arab and being “pro-Palestinian.” One can support Palestinian-Arab self-determination and their rights to life and liberty, and be entirely peaceful about it. I, along with all of my pro-Israel/Zionist friends, stand in solidarity with the Palestinian-Arabs in Gaza living under the kleptocratic terrorist organization Hamas.
However, every single one of these “pro-Palestinian” rallies where you see PLO flags waving around are filled with Jew-hatred, bigotry, and calls to destroy Israel. “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free.” Members of the Fatah Central Committee, Hamas, and various other anti-Semitic and anti-Israel organizations say it frequently – as do people attending anti-Israel protests in America.
If you call yourself a proud feminist and take part in rallies that call for Israel’s destruction, then you are a hypocrite. Israel is the safest place in the Middle East for women. There are neither legalized honor killings nor is there legalized female genital mutilation in the Jewish State.
If you call yourself a proud member of the LGBTQ community and take part in rallies that call for Israel’s destruction, then you are also a hypocrite. Israel is the safest place for members of the LGBTQ community, hosting various pride rallies and protecting everybody’s basic civil liberties and human rights regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity. The rest of the Arab world openly persecutes LGBTQ members and/or lynches them from cranes.
If you call yourself an advocate for workers’ rights and take part in rallies that call for Israel’s destruction, then you are even more of a hypocrite. Israel has the best labor laws in the Middle East, even allowing Palestinian-Arabs living in Judea and Samaria to gain access to health care. They double their pay compared to any factory controlled by the Palestinian Authority. Israeli gives Palestinian-Arabs time to practice their religion. Hamas uses child labor to build their terror tunnels and more than 160 children were killed constructing them.
If you call yourself an advocate for free speech, free press, and freedom of assembly, and you go to rallies calling for Israel’s destruction, then you are the biggest hypocrite of everyone listed above. Israel is the only country in the Middle East with free press, free speech, and freedom of assembly. Look at the Freedom House statistics: only Israel is listed as a “free country,” while every other Arab nation is “not free” with the exception to Lebanon (partly-free).
If you call yourself a liberal and you go to rallies that call for Israel’s destruction, please stop calling yourself that for all of the reasons mentioned above. Why? Because you are not liberal!
Every Zionist on earth finds the loss of every innocent life in Israel and in Gaza tragic, because Zionists do care about both Palestinian-Arabs and Israelis. Yet, people still claim that Zionists are “thirsty for blood” and that they don’t care about anyone who isn’t Israeli. That is false. That is a lie.
And we do not tolerate hypocrites who call for our destruction, Israel’s destruction, and the destruction of the Jewish people’s right to self-determination under the pretexts of being liberal, feminist, pro-LGBTQ rights, pro-workers’ rights, pro-free speech, pro-free press, and pro-freedom of assembly.
