Mortar From Syria Strikes Israeli Territory During Assad, Rebel Clashes

Ynet – A mortal shell from Syria landed in Israeli territory Tuesday morning, during fierce fighting in nearby Quneitra between Syrian President Bashar Assad’s army and opposing rebel forces. There were no casualties or damage.

In recent hours, sources from the Syrian opposition have reported ongoing battles between Assad’s forces and rebel forces, including Jabhat al-Nusra militants – the Al-Qaeda branch in Syria – near the villages of Samdaniyah and Al-Hamidiyah, close to Quneitra.
