Israeli Wounded in Gush Etzion Stabbing, Terrorist Taken to Hadassah Hospital

A female Palestinian terrorist was shot by Israeli security forces after she attempted to stab a man at the Gush Etzion intersection in the West Bank on Monday morning. The victim was lightly wounded in his shoulder.
The terrorist, Amal Taqatqa, 22, from Beit Fajjar, a Palestinian village located south of Bethlehem had a second knife hidden in her clothing. After she was shot, Taqata was taken to the Hadassah University Medical Center in Jerusalem, where she is said to be in serious condition.
“The victim was treated on site, with minor wounds. He didn’t need to be hospitalized,” Eyal Zahavi, a Magen David Adom paramedic who was at the scene, told Tazpit News Agency. “The terrorist had gunshot wounds all along her upper body, and MDA together with army paramedics treated her at the site. She was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem “‹hospital for further treatment at the intensive care unit.”
