The US and Iran are nearing a deal which would permit the Tehran regime to maintain as many as 6,500 centrifuges for its nuclear program in exchange for “guaranteeing regional stability,” Israel’s Army radio reported today.

The report cited Israeli officials who quoted European diplomats telling them that the US had agreed to significant concessions to the Iranians in recent negotiations.  The report added that the EU is opposed to linking the nuclear issue to the maintenance of stability in countries such as Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria, where Iranian influence has been steadily growing.

The EU diplomats are said to be deeply concerned that the US has been working behind their backs to achieve such a deal, and that this was the main issue discussed at a meeting between Secretary of State John Kerry and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif two weeks ago.

Saudi Journalist: Over the Years, Palestinian Leaders Have ‘Excelled in Two Things: Rhetoric and Missing Opportunities’

Over the years, Palestinian leaders have “excelled in two things: rhetoric and missing opportunities,” a Saudi journalist wrote in a...

Research by the highly-regarded Institute for Science and International Security concluded that for a nuclear deal with Iran to be effective, Iran would have to dismantle over 15,000 centrifuges to bring their total to no more than 4,000. Iranian officials have repeatedly insisted that they will not reduce their enrichment capacity, The Tower reported.

Israel fears that an agreement on these lines would leave Iran only a few months away from weaponizing its nuclear program – a nightmare situation that Prime Minster Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to thwart at all costs.

Despite the criticism he has received for inviting Netanyahu to address a joint session of Congress in early March on the Iranian nuclear issue, US House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner said he didn’t regret the decision.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani has akso offered a ringing endorsement of Netanyahu’s right to speak frankly about the threat posed by Iran.

Speaking to an audience at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center in Jerusalem, Giuliani said that any meaningful deal over Iran’s nuclear program would mean that Tehran should have “virtually no possibility of maintaining any nuclear arsenal.”

“I therefore deeply admire Prime Minister Netanyahu for speaking out on this issue, but he honestly has no choice,” Giuliani declared.  “If someone threatens to kill you, you simply don’t give them the gun to do it, unless there’s something wrong with you.”

  • To even be negotiating with the world’s biggest exporter of terrorism is ludicrous, beyond comprehension. It’s deeply disturbing to contemplate how much more damage this crazy psychopath Obama can do in the remainder of his presidential term. It’s as if he wants to harm anyone who doesn’t subscribe to his la-la land ideals. He’s like a spoiled brat who harms anyone he can if he doesn’t get his way. Sadly, America just continues to let him get away with his bullying tactics. There are truly no words to describe how far America has sunk under this administration…this includes Reid, Pulosi, et al. I wonder how many Americans actually know his chief adviser Valerie Jarrett was born in Iran and her family helped start the Muslim Brotherhood and she’s known in the White House as the Iron Maiden (which was a torture devise during the dark ages). It appears we could be entering the “Dark Ages” again!

  • Markus E Brajtman

Thanks to Obama and Kerry, they have given Iran the “go ahead” to produce nuclear weapons, which will be used to attack, Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, Egypt
The UN (if at all possible) should step in and stop this lunacy.
When will the Americans impeach Obama and Kerry and over ride the damage they have done
There is no time to waste.
    They must DO IT NOW.

The lunatic Iranians are out to destroy those countries.

After Israeli PM Netanyahu delivers his speech before the US congress, watch President Oblahbla stand in front of the American people and with a straight face, dazzle them once again with his highly refined act of Shuck and Jive.

For a narcissist, the perception of being offended is intolerable. Netanyahu didn’t jump when O said jump…he starred him down instead and the President doesn’t forget the perception of disrespect. Iran is playing the President like a cheap violin but narcissism blinds a fool. The President is about pay back and his legacy above national interests.

  • dante

the President has been bamboozled by the Iranians and he has been dishonest with the American public; he is interested, only, in delaying the day that Iran will cross the threshold until he leaves office. Then, in his usual way, he will declare that “as I promised, it did not happen on my watch.”

I have, despite the evidence, kept hoping that the President will do what he has repeatedly promised, i.e. prevent Iran from achieving a nuclear weapons capability and to choose no deal over a bad deal. It appears, however, that the President has lied and will continue to lie in the hope that his powerful and often persuasive lies will prove durable, even against the painful reality that they seem likely to induce and, at the same time, deny.

“If someone threatens to kill you, you simply don’t give them the gun to do it, unless there’s something wrong with you.”

Kerry’s Iranian son-in-law’s family being Iranian hostages should have disqualified Kerry’s being Secretary of State. His conflict of interest should keep him miles away from the negotiations. Instead he is the chief U.S. negotiator?

    And Obama’s excuse is……?

Has he declared war against the United States of America?

  • Sam Engler

If Obama is allowed to complete this deal with Iran he is a traitor & a coward who is placing not only Israel but the entire free world in grave danger from an Iran with nuclear weapons & ICBMs. Perhaps Obama thinks by doing this he will leave a legacy of peace but Iran will surely turn it into a legacy of death & destruction unless this deal is stopped now.

  • Yale

Maybe it’s time to start sending umbrellas to Obama.

  • art

First Obama invited the Russians back into the miast to help get Syria to its Chem Arsenal. Now Obama has asked Iran for help and as a reward will give iran nukes, he probably asked them to be discrete until the next President is sworn in. Regardless, Obama has betrayed our allies and friends and championed an enemy. The US has lost what little credibility it may have. There is also the fact that Obama has backed extreme muslim/islamic groups world wide, anyone pattern there? Obamas legacy will be a destabilized world, a nuclear arms race in the mideast and the destruction of US credibility and deterrence.

  • Gregg Solomon

I hope Netanyahu wins the election.
I hope he does what he has to do about Iran.
And I wonder if Obama/Kerry have brought James Taylor,to the negotiations, too soften the Iranians up.

  • Larry

Obama will consider his Presidency a success when Iran has it’s nuclear arsenal. The shame will come if the House and Senate allow it to happen.

  • rachel robinson

that there are a number of comments but this site does not allow us to view them.
    why????

  • Emanuel

The idiot WH thinks this is a political game that can be won against Bibi but it’s not, what it should be is a comprehensive peace plan for the middle east which means no more IS and no more threatening Jews under the pathetic veil of Hamas, Hezbollah, or whatever bowel “movement” they come with next.

  • Chris Rettenmoser

Obama WANTS the Iranian bomb…HE MUST BE IMPEACHED !!!!!!!!

  • Efram

How nice. The EU is finally wising up to our terrorist-in-chiefs duplicity.

  • steven L

The “Islamic President” is offering Iran nuclear capability in exchange for NOTHING and undermines the whole world.
The Senate must act decisively. It is the only body that can reverse this insanity before it is too late.

  • Ivan Gur-Arie

I forgot to add Obama is an outrage and a disgrace to this country.

  • Ivan Gur-Arie

I dont know how Obama can negotiate with Iran when there is evidence of her involved in so many act of undermining peace in the middle east. I am amazed that the President and his administration can be so blindly stupid. Thank God that Netanyahu is coming to speak and alert the Congress what is happening before it is too late. The President is mad about the speech! I am mad about his risking world peace and survival in his obstinate and “omniscient” drive to preserve hsi legacy. His legacy will be the blood of many innocent people spilled while he retires to write his memoirs. Please LOrd help us from the pathology of Obama.

  • E Pluribus Wombat

This is complete nonsense. The EU wants total capitulation more than Obama does. Their main concern is that dropping all sanctions against Iran would cut into the EU’s trade with Iran and lose them significant money.
