US Students Can Win Trip to Israel in Bar Refaeli-Judged Video Competition
by JNS.org
JNS.org – The Embassy of Israel to the United States is holding a video competition for students across America in which the winner will be flown to Israel, where he or she will meet Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. What lends the competition gravitas is not just its high-profile prize, but also its judges.
The video submissions will be judged by Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, Israeli Ambassador to the US Ron Dermer, Israeli musician and composer Yoni Bloch, and Israeli artist Yael Efrati, among others.
Three finalists will win a trip to Washington, DC, where they will meet Dermer and earn an invitation to the Israeli Embassy’s Independence Day party.
To participate, students are asked to make an original video of 90 seconds or less in which they describe their passion for and/or experiences with Israel, as well as what Israel means to them. Select videos will be posted on the “Israel in the USA” Facebook page.
The deadline for submissions is March 27. To be eligible, entrants must be at least 18 years old, live in the US, and be currently enrolled in an accredited 2-4 year college or university
